GLICAR G12 is a high-quality engine coolant concentrate designed for modern internal combustion engine cooling systems. The product must be diluted with demineralized water at a 1:1 ratio before use. Once prepared, it provides reliable protection against freezing down to -35°C, corrosion, deposits, and premature wear of cooling system components.
Applications
The coolant prepared from GLICAR G12 Concentrate is suitable for cooling systems in:
- passenger cars,
- light commercial vehicles,
- trucks,
- buses,
- motorcycles and scooters,
- ATVs and recreational vehicles,
- construction machinery,
- agricultural machinery and tractors,
- military and special-purpose vehicles,
- power generators and stationary engines.
Suitable for gasoline, diesel, and LPG-powered engines.
Material Compatibility
The coolant prepared from GLICAR G12 Concentrate is suitable for cooling systems made of:
- aluminum,
- copper,
- brass,
- soldered radiators.
Its advanced formula, based on monoethylene glycol (MEG), corrosion inhibitors, and performance-enhancing additives, provides long-lasting protection for metal, rubber, and plastic components.
Dilution
GLICAR G12 Concentrate is not a ready-to-use product and must be diluted with demineralized water at a 1:1 ratio before use.
Mixing example:
- 1 liter of concentrate + 1 liter of demineralized water = 2 liters of ready-to-use coolant.
Only high-quality demineralized water should be used. Maintaining the recommended 1:1 mixing ratio is essential. Using the concentrate undiluted or excessively diluting the mixture may reduce the effectiveness of cooling system protection.
UV Leak Detection Additive
Upon request, the concentrate can be enhanced with a UV tracer dye, allowing quick and accurate detection of cooling system leaks using a UV lamp. The additive does not affect the product’s performance and significantly reduces diagnostic time.
Available Colors
GLICAR G12 Concentrate is supplied as standard in red.
The color is achieved using high-quality pigments that do not affect the physical or chemical properties of the product.
CLP Classification and Labeling
Always read the information provided on the product label before use.
Substances that contribute to the classification Ethanediol.

Instructions for use:
- Dilute the concentrate with demineralized water in a 1:1 volume ratio.
- Before filling, drain and flush the cooling system with clean water.
- Pour directly into the cold cooling system through the expansion tank.
- The level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
- Start the engine and wait until the operating temperature is reached, then switch it off and allow it to cool down. After cooling, check the fluid level and top up if necessary.
Note: The fluid replacement interval is specified in the vehicle owner’s manual.
