The UV marker is a component added to the base fluid at the customer’s request. It causes the liquid to “glow” in UV rays. This additive does not affect the physical and chemical properties of the product. Thanks to the UV marker, determining the tightness of the system or locating a leak is child’s play, even for a layman. All you need to do is darken the section of the installation or system you are interested in and illuminate it with UV rays, e.g. from a handy flashlight. Even in nooks and crannies or inaccessible places, leaking or lack of working fluid is clearly visible. The manufacturer recommends using a UV tag for each batch of the ordered product.
