Antifreeze coolant Glicar G11 Concentrate is not a ready-to-use product. Before applying to the engine cooling system, it should be diluted with demineralized water in a 1:1 ratio. Detailed instructions for this process can be found in the “Dilution” tab. Do not use undiluted concentrate, but also do not use excessively diluted liquids. Dilution in proportions other than those recommended by the manufacturer may impair the operation of the cooling system, expose it to premature wear, and even lead to damage to the cooled drive unit through overheating.
GLICAR G12 Radiator Fluid Concentrate is produced on the basis of monoethylene glycol (MEG). Only virgin raw material is used for production, not from recovery or recycling processes. As a result, the resulting product boasts high performance parameters. The product is completely free of glycerin, in addition, it is enriched with numerous additives and corrosion inhibitors. Thanks to such a unique recipe, the manufacturer can guarantee full protection of the cooling system for 5 years or 250 thousand km of uninterrupted operation. Corrosion inhibitors and refiners preserve and protect both metal, rubber and plastic components from corrosion and premature wear. Ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation of the cooling system. The liquid resulting from diluting the concentrate does not foam, which is guaranteed by carefully selected anti-foaming ingredients. Thanks to them, it is possible to completely eliminate problems resulting from the presence of foam in the cooling system.
After dilution of GLICAR G12 Concentrate, the resulting fluid can be used in cooling systems for internal combustion engines from motorcycles and scooters and other recreational vehicles, through passenger cars and other intensively used vehicles, to trucks and buses. GLICAR G12 is a great choice for construction equipment and machinery, tractors and agricultural equipment, military vehicles or special purposes. Glicar G12 radiator fluid can be used in stationary engine cooling systems.
The product has the following standards: PN93/C-40008-10; PN-C-40007; ASTM D 5931-13; ASTM D 1287-11; PN 93/C-40008-05; PN-C-40008-06:1993/AZ 1:2000.
The GLICAR G12 meets the requirements for AUDI/SEAT/SKODA/VW TL 774 D, ASTM D 3306, ASTM D 4985, ASTM D 6210, BS 6580:2010, DAF 74002, FIAT 9.55523, FORD WSS-M97-844 D, Man 324 SNF, MB APPROVAL 326.3, RENAULT 41-01-001/- S TYPE D, VOLVO COOLANT VCS, SAE J 1034.
UV Additive
At the customer’s request, the standard product formula can be enriched with a UV dye. The addition of a UV dye causes the liquid to “glow” when illuminated with UV rays. The source of light with the UV spectrum can be a specialized flashlight. The glowing liquid makes it simple and time-saving to perform the system leak test. Large leaks from the cooling system are quite easy to diagnose. However, smaller leaks, especially hidden in hard-to-reach places, can be a problem in diagnostics. However, if the fluid has a UV tag, it is enough to illuminate the darkened part of the system with light containing the UV spectrum, and even the smallest leak will begin to shine with a bright, bright light, which significantly shortens the time of its detection and the entire diagnostics of the cooling system. On the other hand, the lack of any effect after illumination of the cooling system gives confidence in the tightness of the system. The manufacturer recommends using a UV marker in every cooling system.
Colour
Antifreeze coolant Glicar G12 Concentrate is available in red. The color of the liquid is obtained by adding natural mineral pigments. The pigments used to dye the liquid do not affect the usability of the product and do not change its physicochemical properties.
Remark
The liquid obtained from the dilution of GLICAR G12 Concentrate can be used in coolers made of brass, copper (including brazed) and aluminum.
