GLICAR MET Winter windshield washer fluid concentrate is a high-quality concentrate designed for preparing winter windshield washer fluid for effective cleaning of vehicle windshields and headlights. The product is not ready to use and must be diluted with water before use according to the recommended mixing ratios. Its formula, based on methyl alcohol (methanol), ensures effective performance at low temperatures and reliable protection of the washer system against freezing.
Application
The washer fluid prepared by diluting GLICAR Winter Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate is suitable for washer systems in:
- passenger cars,
- light commercial vehicles,
- trucks,
- buses,
- construction machinery,
- agricultural machinery,
- special-purpose vehicles,
- military vehicles.
The product is intended for cleaning windshields and headlights in all types of vehicles equipped with a washer system.
Properties
The formula is enriched with performance-enhancing additives that support effective cleaning of glass surfaces and ensure reliable operation of the washer system.
It remains fluid at low temperatures, providing freeze protection for the washer system depending on the selected dilution ratio.
The product effectively removes road dirt, slush, snow, and other contaminants from windshields without leaving streaks or glare that could impair visibility.
For optimum performance, the manufacturer recommends using only good-quality water and following the recommended mixing ratios. Incorrect dilution may significantly reduce the performance of the prepared washer fluid.
Dilution
GLICAR Winter Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate is not ready to use. Before use, dilute with water according to the required level of freeze protection.
Recommended mixing ratios:
- 1 part concentrate + 1 part water = protection down to approx. -30°C
- 1 part concentrate + 2 parts water = protection down to approx. -20°C
- 1 part concentrate + 3 parts water = protection down to approx. -10°C
The above ratios are by volume.
Available Colors
As standard, GLICAR Winter Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate is available in red.
The color is achieved using high-quality mineral pigments that are neutral to the product’s performance characteristics.
