GLICAR UNIVERSAL Antifreeze Coolant Concentrate is not a ready-to-use product. Before using the concentrate, it should be diluted with demineralized water in a ratio of 1:1. The manufacturer strongly advises against using an undiluted product. Also, using a product that is too diluted is not safe for your engine. You can find out more about the dilution process in the “Dilution” tab.

GLICAR Universal concentrate is a premium product aimed at professionals. Due to the unique nature of its monoethylene glycol-based formulation, it is an alternative to most of the coolant fluids available on the market. It can be used in internal combustion engine cooling systems of all manufacturers. One of its applications is the cooling systems of stationary motors, powering e.g. electric power generators or field power stations, but it is dedicated to cooling systems for motorcycles, quads and other recreational vehicles, cars and trucks, as well as in special vehicles. It also works well for construction and agricultural equipment and machinery, as well as military vehicles.

GLICAR UNIVERSAL radiator fluid concentrate is a product enriched with numerous, carefully selected anti-corrosion additives, stabilizers, refining additives and anti-foaming agents. A set of raw materials of the highest quality prepared in this way provides full corrosion protection of all metal elements of the cooling system. It preserves and prevents premature wear and degradation of rubber components, gaskets and seals. The product does not foam both during application and during the operation of the cooling system.

GLICAR UNIVERSAL CONCENTRATE is completely miscible with other liquids produced on the basis of monoethylene glycol.

The radiator fluid resulting from the dilution of GLICAR UNIVERSAL concentrate meets the requirements for low-coagulation fluids. It remains liquid even at sub-zero temperatures. It protects the cooling system from freezing down to -35°C.

The product meets the requirements for PN-C-40007, ASTM D 3306 and BS 6580 standards.

UV Additive

A UV additive is a UV dye added at the customer’s request, which causes the working fluid to glow when exposed to light containing the UV spectrum. This makes it easier to diagnose the tightness of the system and makes it easy for everyone. To check the tightness of the system, it is enough to darken the cooling system or its tested part and direct the light of a flashlight with a UV spectrum at this place. If the system is leaking, the leak will glow in the dark. Then we have a clear and indisputable answer about the tightness of the system. The product enriched with a UV marker is so helpful in the field of system leak diagnostics and so measurably shortens the time of the process that the manufacturer recommends its use in every cooling system, both in vehicle engines and in stationary engines.

Colour

GLICAR UNIVERSAL Antifreeze Coolant Concentrate is coloured red as standard. The colour is obtained by adding natural mineral pigments. The pigments remain completely neutral to the functional physicochemical properties of the product. The pigments used can be replaced with another dye at the express request of the customer. In this way, you can get a fully functional version of the product in colors from yellow to green to blue.

GLICAR UNIVERSAL radiator fluid concentrate is not a finished product. Before use, it should be diluted in demineralized water in a ratio of 1:1.

What should you absolutely avoid in the dilution process?

The most important thing is not to improve the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding the proportions of mixed components. Both too thick and excessively diluted mixture can cause problems. Undiluted or diluted product can overload the system, which can lead to less efficient heat collection from the engine than its specification requires. The result of such a situation can be overheating or even damage to the engine. A product that is too diluted does not sufficiently protect the system against corrosion and wears out rubber components, gaskets and seals excessively. At low temperatures, an excessively diluted product may freeze, and the expanding liquid may lead to permanent mechanical damage to the components of the cooling system.

Demineralized water produced in the reverse osmosis process is completely devoid of minerals and impurities or organic inclusions. Concentrate diluted with the wrong water does not retain all its physicochemical properties. This can cause premature wear of the cooling system components due to lack of corrosion protection, limescale build-up or precipitation of mineral deposits.
