GLITHERM ET CONCENTRATE Heat Transfer Fluid, Antifreeze – is a highly concentrated premium concentrate based on monoethylene glycol (MEG). Its unique formula guarantees the highest quality of ready-made mixtures prepared on its basis. It protects the installation against corrosion and freezing temperatures. It effectively prevents the formation of deposits and limescale, taking care of the efficiency of the equipment. High-quality components prevent degradation of fluids and systems for long-lasting performance.

Glitherm ET Concentrate is not a ready-to-use product. Before use, it requires dilution with demineralized water, to the appropriate concentrations according to the proportions recommended by the manufacturer. It is not recommended to use undiluted concentrate, due to the high concentration of glycol, high density and viscosity of the product, which may lead to damage to the installation. The process of dilution and preparation of working solutions is presented in the “Dilution” section.
A high concentration of glycol means less product for transport and storage. GLITHERM ET concentrate is perfect for wherever transport and storage costs have a large share in the overall costs. Unused concentrate can be used to prepare a mixture with different parameters, for another installation on the same or subsequent investment.
The highest quality of the heat transfer fluid Glitherm ET Koncentrat is confirmed by the Technical Recommendation of ITB – Institute of Building Technology in Warsaw.
Increased content of corrosion inhibitors, stabilizing additives, refiners, high-performance antifoaming agents dedicated to glycols and neutral pigments make up the formula of Glitherm ET Concentrate. The product formula provides full protection of the installation against corrosion and freezing, protects the installations from limescale build-up and prevents the formation of deposits. It keeps the installation clean, protects the installation from the development of microbial life and the formation of the so-called biofilm on its elements. The high-performance anti-foaming additives used protect ready-to-use mixtures from foaming both during filling and during the operation of the plant.
Glitherm ET Antifreeze Concentrate is produced on the basis of first-grade raw materials. No semi-finished products or recycled and regenerated raw materials are used for production. The use of only the highest quality raw materials and the unique formula of the product prevents fluid degradation and guarantees long-term failure-free operation of the installation.
The products of the Glitherm ET family are a cheaper alternative to monopropylene glycol (MPG)-based fluids. The monoethylene glycol used in the product is a toxic substance that is harmful to humans and the environment, so it is imperative to avoid releasing the liquid into the environment, watercourses, sewage, groundwater or utility water. Mixtures made on the basis of this concentrate can be safely used wherever there is no direct contact with food or domestic water.
Colour.
Glitherm ET Heat Transfer Fluid Concentrate is supplied in blue as standard. The color of the concentrate is obtained by admixture of completely neutral natural pigments. Pigments – like UV markers – do not affect the functional physicochemical properties of the product and the mixtures obtained from it.
REMARK!
Mixtures based on Glitherm ET concentrate should not be used in installations containing galvanized elements. At the same time, all mixtures based on this product are compatible with most materials commonly used in installations, such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, binder, brass. Also, the fact that the system is soldered does not limit the use of mixtures based on Glitherm ET concentrate in any way.
