Antifreeze coolant Glicar G11 Concentrate is not a finished product. Before use, it should be diluted with demineralized water in a 1:1 ratio. Detailed instructions for diluting the product are available in the “Dilution” tab. The manufacturer strongly advises against using the product undiluted or diluted in proportions other than the recommended 1:1 with demineralized water. Using the product undiluted may result in loss of its functional properties and even damage to the cooling system.
GLICAR G11 Coolant Concentrate is a high-quality product addressed to the most demanding customers. GLICAR G11 coolant obtained after diluting the concentrate protects the radiator and cooling system components against low temperatures down to -35°C. The unique composition enriched with numerous refiners and corrosion inhibitors guarantees almost full protection of metal elements against corrosion. Rubber elements, gaskets and seals are not only protected, but also maintained, which eliminates problems with premature aging of these elements. Anti-foam additives prevent the liquid from foaming both when filling the radiator and during operation. By using GLICAR G11 in your radiator, you will avoid problems caused by foaming of the working medium.
Glicar G11 fluid can be used in a wide range of combustion engines. Starting from engines powering scooters and motorcycles, through passenger cars, vans and minibuses, delivery cars and trucks, buses, to less obvious structures such as campers, military vehicles and equipment, tractors and agricultural or construction machines. GLICAR G11 is a product intended for cooling systems of engines powered by gasoline, diesel oil, LPG, and other less conventional fuels – if the specification of such an engine allows it. GLICAR G11 coolant can be successfully used in stationary engines, e.g. power generators or field, civil and military power plants.
The product meets the standards: PN93/C-40008-10;PN-C-40007;ASTM D 5931-13;ASTM D 1287-11;PN 93/C-40008-05;PN-C-4008-06:1993/AZ 1:2000 .
The liquid obtained after diluting the concentrate meets the requirements of the AUDI/SEAT/SKODA/VW TL 774 C, ASTM D3306, BS 6580:2010, ASTM D 4985, ASTM D 5345, ASTAM D 2570, ANFOR NF R 15-601, DAF 74001, and Man 324 NF,, Man 324 NF PRITARDER, MB 325.0, 325.2, SAE J 814.
UV marker! At the customer’s request, the composition of GLICAR G11 Radiator Fluid Concentrate can be enriched with a UV marker. It is a UV dye that is completely neutral to its physical and chemical properties and gives the liquid a glowing effect under UV light. Diagnosing the tightness of the cooling system with such “marked” fluid is child’s play, even for a layman. It is enough to illuminate the darkened radiator and other elements of the cooling system with UV rays, e.g. from a pocket flashlight or a banknote tester, to obtain a clear leak test result. Even the smallest leak hidden in the nooks and crannies of the system will not be hidden when we have a diagnostic tool such as a UV marker in the coolant. There is also no way to confuse a leak from the radiator with other fluids present under the hood of the car. The suspicious substance either glows in UV light and is clearly fluid from the cooling system, or it is a fluid from another source that does not contain a tracer. The manufacturer recommends using a UV marker for each cooling system.
Color. Antifreeze coolant Glicar G11 Concentrate is available in blue. The color of the liquid is obtained by adding natural mineral pigments. Pigments are completely neutral to the physical and chemical properties of the product. Pigments that give the product a blue color can be replaced with others at the customer’s request. The product may be colored yellow or green. Sometimes, cultural conditions or local legal regulations, especially in non-European markets, require the delivery of a product with a specific color required by the customer. Then, the possibility of dyeing the concentrate in a color other than the standard one may be a prerequisite for gaining a new customer or even a new market.
The coolant obtained by diluting the GLICAR G11 Radiator Fluid Concentrate can be used in radiators made of brass, copper (including soldered ones) and aluminum.
