Antifreeze coolant Glicar G13 Concentrate is not a ready-to-use product, before pouring into the cooler, the product must be diluted with demineralized water in a 1:1 ratio – details of the process are available in the “Dilution” tab. The concentrate should not be used undiluted or diluted in proportions other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Too thick a liquid may overload the cooling system and, in extreme cases, damage the engine by overheating. A product that is too diluted does not protect the cooling system against freezing, but also against corrosion of metal parts and premature wear of rubber and plastic elements.
GLICAR G13 radiator fluid concentrate is produced only from the highest quality primary mono ethylene glycol (MEG). No raw materials resulting from recycling or recovery processes are used in production. The modern formula of the product is based on organic acid technology (SI-OTE). Combined with a unique recipe – the result of ten years of experience and improvements – including numerous enriching additives and corrosion inhibitors, GLICAR G13 is a product of the highest quality. It protects the cooling system against corrosion and cavitation. All rubber elements, gaskets and seals and other parts made of plastic are constantly maintained and protected against premature wear. Moreover, the product is completely free of toxic nitrites, amines or phosphates. The addition of anti-foam substances dedicated to ethylene glycol completely eliminates problems resulting from the presence of foam in the cooling system. The product does not foam when filling the system or during its operation. The product protects the cooling system against scale and sediment formation.
The coolant based on GLICAR G13 Coolant Concentrate meets the requirements for low-freezing fluids for cooling systems of combustion engines of all manufacturers. The cooling system is protected against temperatures down to -35°C. It can be used in all combustion engines, both stationary and those installed in vehicles, powered by traditional fuels – gasoline, diesel oil, LPG.
The highest quality of the G13 concentrate is confirmed by the manufacturer’s warranty for 250,000. km of mileage or 5 years of operation.
The product conforms to the standards: PN93/C-40008-10; PN-C-40007; ASTM D 5931-13; ASTM D 1287-11; PN 93/C-40008-05; PN-C-4008-06:1993/AZ 1:2000.
Meets the requirements for the following standards: Audi/Skoda/VW/Seat TL 774 J, ASTM D 3306, BS 6580:2010
UV marker. Antifreeze coolant Glicar G13 Concentrate can be enriched with a UV marker at the customer’s request. The UV dye is completely neutral to the physical and chemical properties of the product. The UV marker causes the finished liquid to “glow” in UV rays. It is enough to darken the cooling system or part of it. Illuminate with light containing the UV spectrum to confirm the tightness of the system or detect a leak from the system. Even a layman can diagnose the tightness of the cooling system when the coolant is enriched with a UV marker. There is no possibility of even a small leak hiding in nooks or hard-to-reach places. It is also difficult to confuse leaking coolant with other liquids, e.g. condensate. The manufacturer recommends the UV marker as an essential addition to the coolant in every vehicle or stationary engine.
Color. The product is available in purple. The color of the product is obtained by the addition of natural mineral pigments. Pigments that are the source of the product’s color are completely indifferent to the functional properties of the product and its mixtures – prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The coolant obtained by diluting GLICAR G13 radiator fluid concentrate can be recommended for systems made of most materials commonly used on the market for the production of car radiators. The product can be safely used in coolers made of aluminum, cast iron or in mixed systems.
