GLICAR DOT-5.1 is a high-quality synthetic brake fluid designed for hydraulic braking systems and hydraulic clutch actuation systems. The product is ready to use and requires no dilution. Its advanced formulation provides a very high boiling point, excellent low-temperature fluidity, and reliable performance in modern braking systems equipped with ABS, ESP, and ASR.

The product is intended for all vehicles where the manufacturer specifies brake fluid meeting the DOT-5.1 standard. It may also be used in applications where DOT-4 or DOT-3 brake fluids are approved, in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.

Performance Characteristics
GLICAR DOT-5.1 features:
- dry boiling point of minimum 260°C,
- very low viscosity at low temperatures for rapid response of ABS, ESP, and ASR systems,
- high resistance to oxidation and ageing,
- effective corrosion protection for hydraulic components,
- excellent resistance to foaming.
The recommended service interval is up to 3 years, in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.

Instructions for use:
- Use the brake fluid according to the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour directly into the cold system through the expansion reservoir.
- The fluid level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
- Do not overfill the reservoir.
- Start the engine and wait until operating temperature is reached.
- Get into the vehicle and press the brake pedal several times.
- Switch off the engine and allow it to cool down.
- After cooling, check the fluid level and top up if necessary.
- Repeat these steps until the fluid level remains stable.
