GLICAR G13 is a high-quality coolant concentrate designed for modern engine cooling systems. The product is not ready to use and must be diluted with demineralized water at a 1:1 ratio before use. When properly prepared, it provides reliable protection against freezing down to -36°C, corrosion, cavitation, deposits, and premature wear of cooling system components.
Applications
The coolant prepared by diluting GLICAR G13 Concentrate is suitable for cooling systems in:
- passenger cars,
- light commercial vehicles,
- trucks,
- buses,
- motorcycles and ATVs,
- construction machinery,
- agricultural machinery and tractors,
- military and special-purpose vehicles,
- generator sets and stationary engines.
Suitable for gasoline, diesel, and LPG-powered engines.
Material Compatibility
The coolant prepared from GLICAR G13 Concentrate is compatible with cooling systems made of:
- aluminum,
- cast iron,
- steel,
- mixed-metal cooling systems.
Its advanced Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) formula provides long-lasting protection for metal, rubber, and plastic components against corrosion, cavitation, and pre
Dilution
GLICAR G13 Concentrate is not a ready-to-use product. Before use, it must be diluted with demineralized water at a 1:1 volume ratio.
Example:
- 1 litre of concentrate + 1 litre of demineralized water = 2 litres of ready-to-use coolant.
For optimum performance, use only high-quality demineralized water and always maintain the recommended 1:1 mixing ratio.
UV Leak Detection Additive
Upon customer request, the concentrate can be enhanced with a UV tracer, making it easy to detect cooling system leaks using a UV lamp. The additive does not affect the product’s performance and significantly reduces diagnostic time.
Available Colors
GLICAR G13 Concentrate is supplied in violet as standard.
The color is achieved using high-quality mineral pigments that are completely neutral to the product’s physical and chemical properties.
CLP Classification and Labelling
Always read the information provided on the product label before use.
Substances that contribute to the classification Ethanediol.

Instructions for use:
- Dilute the concentrate with demineralized water in a 1:1 volume ratio.
- Before filling, drain and flush the cooling system with clean water.
- Pour directly into the cold cooling system through the expansion tank.
- The level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
- Start the engine and wait until the operating temperature is reached, then switch it off and allow it to cool down. After cooling, check the fluid level and top up if necessary.
Note: The fluid replacement interval is specified in the vehicle owner’s manual.
